Welcome to Overwater Boats!Overwater Boats - Introduction:Overwater Boats is based near Thursby in Northern Cumbria, just outside the Lake District National Park. We offer: secure boat storage; bespoke boat building, refurbishment and repair; and boat building courses. Located in a former stable block which has been updated with new power, lighting and alarm systems we have a large versitile space ideally suited for boat building, courses and boat storage.

Boat Building Courses:
Always wanted to build your own boat but lack the space or don't know how to get started? Come on one of our boat building courses and learn on the job with expert tuition, and leave with your own boat at the end of the course. Boat Building, Repairs and Restoration:
We offer bespoke boat building and repair and restoration services. Recent commissions include a wooden canoe, repairs to 3 GRP racing kayaks, and restoration work on Ruadh, a David Boyd Piper Class dayboat.
